Servings 16 servings per 19.5 oz container
- Two 6 oz cans Tomato Paste
- 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1/2 cup Light Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 4 tbsp 100% Honey
- 2 tsp Smoked paprika
- 3 tsp McCormick Himalayan Pink Salt, Black Pepper & Garlic seasoning
- 1 pinch Corn Starch
- 1 cup Water
Heat skillet on medium to high heat (7 on a scale of 1 to 9).
Add tomato paste to skillet. Add water to the cans to help get any remaining tomato paste out of the can. Doing this helps meet the 1 cup water requirement for this recipe.
Next add the lemon juice, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce to the skillet and stir until well blended.
Add the honey, smoked paprika and seasoning. Stir well.
Next add a pinch of cornstarch to the sauce and stir well. The cornstarch will help thicken the bbq sauce more but not add too many more calories.
Allow to simmer for about 7-10 minutes.
Cool down before consuming or storing.
- Please adjust the ingredient portions per your taste preferences and dietary goals.
