The Best Spinach & Mushroom Alfredo Pizza You Will Love

Ola my friend! Do you remember Olive Garden’s Chicken Alfredo Pizza? I have not been to Olive Garden in a long time but I remember this pizza. My friends hyped it up so until I had to try it. It lived up to it’s hype. It was so delicious. But what do you do when you are vegan (or in your vegan season) and want Alfredo Pizza? You can make a vegan friendly Alfredo Pizza at home. It is so good and so easy to make.

In this recipe post, I’m going to show you exactly how easy is to make this underrated vegan Alfredo pizza. Now you can enjoy one of your favorite foods while vegan 😉. Are you ready? Let’s go!

Alfredo Pizza Sauce

  • Coconut Cream
  • Vegan Butter
  • Minced Garlic
  • Italian Seasoning
  • Pink Himalayan Salt
  • Ground Black Pepper
  • Vegan Cream Cheese
  • Vegan Parmesan Cheese
  • Vegan Mozzarella Cheese

Alfredo Pizza

  • Iraqi Flat Bread*
  • Alfredo Pizza Sauce
  • Vegan Mozzarella Cheese
  • Fresh Spinach
  • Fresh Mushrooms
  • Yellow Onion

Step 1

Gather all ingredients and cooking utensils for the Alfredo pizza sauce and pizza. Prep the alfredo pizza sauce.

Step 2

Chop and sauté the mushrooms and onions.

Step 3

Take (1) Iraqi flat bread and generously spread on the Alfredo sauce.

Step 4

Add all the toppings: vegan cheese (optional), onions, mushrooms, and spinach. Bake in oven on 300℉ for 10 minutes.

Step 5

Slice and enjoy!

  • ▢  14-16" Pizza Baking Pan

Ingredients
  

Alfredo Sauce

  • ▢ Coconut Cream – (1) 13.5 fl oz can
  • ▢ Vegan Butter – 3 tbsps
  • ▢ Minced Garlic – 1 to 2 tbsps
  • ▢ Italian Seasoning – 2 tsps
  • ▢ Pink Himalayan Salt – 2 tsps (or to taste)
  • ▢ Ground Black Pepper – 1 tsp (or to taste)
  • ▢ Vegan Cream Cheese – â…“ cup
  • ▢ Vegan Parmesan Cheese – ½ cup
  • ▢ Vegan Mozzarella Cheese – â…” cup
  • ▢ Olive Oil – 1 tsp

Alfredo Pizza

  • Iraqi Flat Bread* (see note below)
  • Vegan Mozzarella Cheese (as desired)
  • Alfredo Sauce – (generous amount) (see above)
  • Spinach – ½ cup
  • Mushrooms – (1) 8 oz
  • Yellow Onion – (1) large

Instructions
 

  • Gather all ingredients and cooking utensils for the Alfredo pizza sauce and pizza.
  • Preheat oven to 300℉.

Alfredo Pizza Sauce Prep

  • Add the minced garlic and olive oil to a small pot and sauté on medium high heat for 2-3 minutes.
  • Next add the coconut cream, vegan butter, vegan cream cheese, and seasonings to the pot and stir until well combined.
  • Stir in the vegan parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese until the sauce thickens. Total time should take about 10 minutes.

Alfredo Pizza Prep

  • Chop and sauté the mushrooms and onions.
  • Take (1) Iraqi flat bread and generously spread on the Alfredo sauce.
  • Add all the toppings: vegan cheese (optional), onions, mushrooms, and spinach.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes.
  • Slice and enjoy!

Notes

  • Iraqi flat bread alternatives: naan, other flat breads, pizza crusts.
  • Sauté the mushrooms and onions with a little garlic and olive oil.
  • Bake pizza for 15 minutes for crisper crust.
