The Most Beloved Homemade Vegan Brownies You Need Today

Ola my friend! Have you ever wondered if you could enjoy a sweet that tasted so good but did not have any guilt attached? My opinion is there’s no sweet treat that one can enjoy without some level of initial guilt. Even these vegan brownies will make you feel guilty thinking that you have done something wrong but rest assured … these vegan brownies are safe for your body with 100% natural ingredients.

I used eat with Clarity’s Best Homemade Vegan Brownies recipe as a base. You will be pleased to know that this recipe only takes small amounts of a few ingredients that will yield enough brownies to satisfy any sweet tooth intensity. I believe you will be hooked to these vegan brownies immediately after your first bite. Don’t believe me? Let’s try this!

Vegan Brownies Ingredients & Prep

Dry Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup 100% cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 cups 100% red wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp Himalayan Pink Salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp 100% vanilla extract
  • 5 tbsp apple sauce
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup 100% maple syrup
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Add all dry ingredients to large bowl.
  3. Add olive oil, maple syrup, olive oil, apple sauce and vanilla extract to the large bowl and stir until the batter is smooth.
  4. Pour batter into an 8×8 baking pan lined with parchment paper.
  5. Put in oven and let it bake for about 30 minutes or until the butter knife check passes (see notes below).
  6. Remove from the oven once done and allow to cool for 10-15 minutes.

Notes

  1. What is the butter knife check? The butter knife check is when you take a clean butter knife and stick it in the center of a bake good that is baking. If the center comes out with residue then the baked good is not yet done. If it comes out clean then proceed to test a few more areas around the center. If the knife comes out clean then it is ready to be taken out of the oven for cooling down.
