Ola my friend! There are 5 vegan restaurants in Dallas, TX I want to try soon. Several people who are NOT vegan have highly recommended these places. They talked about how they look forward to going back because the food is so good. I’m talking about bbq eating texans . . . top meat eaters lol. Was I surprised? Yes, to say the least!

In this post, I’m going to share 5 outstanding vegan restaurants in Dallas, TX that you can check out as soon as you get the chance. I’m making plans starting with this post. You know I will share all my feedback so stay tuned. Anyway, ready for the outstanding 5 vegan restaurants? Let’s go!

Smash Burger

Google Rating: 3.7

Price Range: $10-20

A good friend recommended I try the black bean burger here. She loves it and she is NOT vegan. I do not even know how she tried this burger in the first place lol. However, I am not sure if they still have the black bean burger. I couldn’t find it on Smash Burger’s site. I will look again. There is another veggie burger that may be good but I’ll have to think about this a bit. The rating is very low for my preference but per the reviews this is due to the subpar service and not how good the food is.

Casa Del Vegano

Google Rating: 4.4

Price Range: $20-30

Ok Casa Del Vegano is TexMex Vegan restaurant in southwest Dallas, TX. Oak Cliff to be exact. I hear many things about Oak Cliff but this restaurant piqued my interest the most. TexMex vegan food? And it is good? I am impressed. A non-vegan Texas native told me about this restaurant. They were so convincing about how amazing the food was there. They get double rice because the rice is so delicious. They spend around $17-20 and the food portions are huge.

Looking at the menu there are 4 dishes I want try first.

  • Burrito de Bistec y Papas con Queso
  • Birria Quesadilla
  • Texican Pizza
  • Birria Brisket and Chili Nachos

Vegn Vibrationz

Google Rating: 4.6

Price Range: $10-20

A good friend recommended I try the crunch wrap supreme here. And that is exactly what I plan to do. It’s funny because she is not vegan by any means but she is sold on this crunch wrap. Vegan Vibrationz is one of the top vegan restaurants in DFW area. I definitely look forward to trying the crunch wrap. It looks and sounds delicious.

The Iconic Cafe @ Ann’s Health Food Center & Market

Google Rating: 4.7

Price Range:$10-20

Another non-vegan Texas native told me about the Iconic Cafe in the Ann’s Health Food Center & Market. This was their first vegan experience. They ordered the black bean burger with seasoned fries for about $20. Their whole outlook on vegan food changed after eating that burger. All they could say was that it was really good. Every thing about the burger was delicious, even the buns. They admitted it is expensive but completely worth it. They are trying to readjust their budget just to get this burger whenever they want.

Looking at the recent reviews, I want to try:

  • Black bean burger (of course. btw is this the same as the avocado burger?)
  • Vegan mac & cheese (I guess I didn’t have to say vegan haha)
  • Birria tacos

I’m on the fence about:

  • Hot Lion Bling sandwich (made with lions mane mushrooms … my goodness)
  • Vegan french toast? (I’m not a french toast person but I get a sweet tooth every now and then)

Recipe Oak Cliff

Google Rating: 4.8

Price Range: $10-20

Here’s another vegan restaurant in Oak Cliff Dallas. Actually google recommended this one after looking at one of the restaurants above. The rating caught my eye. It has the highest rating in the list. I would love to try the veggie burger with the house made patty. They also have the Diamond Detox which is activated charcoal in lime water. The site says it absorbs toxins and gas. Very cool. Maybe I will try this also for the experience.

Until Next Time

Well, what do you think? These restaurants are a good source of inspiration for me. Exploring gets my meal prep ideas rolling and that’s what I appreciate about discovering these spots. Big kudos to these vegan restaurants for impressing non-vegan meat eating texans. This speaks volumes.

Which one of these vegan restaurants would you try? Please drop a comment below or email me. I would love to hear your feedback and/or stories. If you want a refreshing and filling kale salad then you have to try this Lebanese inspire quinoa salad. So yummy ????.

Well, I will take my leave for now. I look forward to our time together again soon. Be inspired to have an appetite to Live and Live well.
