The sauce turned out really great. I didn’t get the chance to dip my cheese stuffed bread in this sauce because the bread did not last 5 minutes. However, I am sure it would have been delicious. I did get to use it in a homestyle calzone, which was delightful. I will experiment with other seasonings and vinegars to explore more bursting flavors. Homemade Pizza Sauce Ingredients & Prep

  • Tomato paste (no sodium/sugar added) – 6 oz
  • 100% Olive oil – 2 tbsp
  • Balsamic Vinegar / White Vinegar – 1 tbsp
  • Water – 1 tbsp (optional)
  • Pink Himalayan Salt – 3/4 tsp
  • Oregano – 1/2 tsp
  • Thyme – 1/4 tsp
  • Garlic powder – 1 tbsp
  1. Gather all ingredients.
  2. Add all ingredients to a small bowl.
  3. Stir the sauce until well blended.
  4. Taste and confirm if any ingredient need to be added.
  5. Use immediately or place in the refrigerator for storage.

Notes

  • Feel free to adjust the ingredient portions per your taste preferences and dietary goals.
  • Water is optional to aid in getting a looser consistency in the pizza sauce.
  • Store the pizza sauce in glass airtight containers for short and long term storage.
